About Vivian Kallmann
Born in New York City, I attended life drawing classes at the Art Student’s League starting at age 12. In high school I was accepted into the Philadelphia College of Art summer program then on to the Cleveland Institute of Art, the Vancouver School of Art and graduated with a Fine Art major from Hunter College in New York City. Exploring these different avenues of learning gave me time to develop a personal relationship with creativity. I enjoy changing up materials including glass, watercolor, oils and mixed media as it offers a challenge and an opportunity to customize each piece.
I have been a member in good standing of the Stained Glass Association of America (2013) and listed as a resource in the Old House Journal (1970’s) and Restoration Product News (1970’s) as an expert colorist and an expert designer of stained and etched glass for specific historical periods.
